I don't to worry you all but there was an American chap on the telly last night,(can't remember what programme he was on)and he was talking all about the weather in America with this Polar Vortex or whatever it is called and he was saying that we are going to get the tail end of it within the next week or so and don't know whether anyone else has noticed, but especially where we live the wind has dropped to just a slight breeze and the temperature has also dropped from the mildness we have been experiencing of late to rather chilly:eeew:

I quiet enjoy having snow, but just don't get on with the icy biting winds.:cry3:

Also have primroses in flower, one snowdrop that was open on Xmas day and my daffy and snowdrops are all showing nicely through the soil:hapydancsmil:Oh and the Robins are all singing so a good sign that spring is on it's way:biggrin:

I'm sure we have some colder weather to come in the next couple of months, but I've never believed the old tale that we get our weather from America, it just dont happen that way, if it did we would have much better summers than we do.
I'm thinking the couple of thousand plus, miles of ocean between us has more effect.

Here we go again! It's horrible out there now. Rain, thick grey clouds and some strong gusts. I'm just wondering if it's going to get any worse.

Got frightened the other day as there was a big yellow thing in the sky. Luckily it disappeared after 30 minutes or so.

We've had torrential rain and gale force winds since the early hours of this morning. It has stopped in the last ten minutes and with the cloud lifting I can now see snow on the hills. Oh oh! Is that the sun I see as I type this? Well almost!

No coastal flooding today but this has been the better day, tomorrow is going to be horrendous apparently, with a red warning alert here.

I can't think if anyone did Jenny. Mind you we haven't had the snow promised by the doom and gloom Daily Express yet! :heehee:

So, what we've had so far is a mere incidental? The 100 days of snow - 1/2/2014 to 30/4/2014
                    THEN WHAT???
