    Hi
This is an evergreen shrub, about 4 feet tall and large. Slender appearance.
Pictures have taken this morning. No flowers now, but dark fruits.
It is grown in a walled garden, west-facing wall. Glouucestershire.
    Any idea what it is?
    Thanks
    Bye

It looks suspiciously like a small olive tree of some kind perhaps, but with very few branches.. It will need to be sheltered from winds & frosts in Gloucestershire Probably accounts for small number of branches..

The leaf and stem looks very much to me like Jasminum officinale

I think it looks like a Ligustrum variety - maybe obtusifolium.

The pic shows a shrub with compound pinnate leaves and would fit very well with Jasminum officinale.
(Ash trees and Elderberry have a similar arrangement of leaves.)

While Ligustrum has simple leaves that are opposite each other on a twig so can be ruled out.
