Dry, a little sun but lots and lots of wind - the trees are making a bit of a swirl, I feel safer indoors!

Well, we had a quiet night last despite the expected high winds and rain and it looked in the garden as though it hadn't even rained.:dunno:
I had to drive to Wem in Shropshire today to pick up my sister[again:hate-shocked:] so that she could stay with some friends in Nantwich in Cheshire and the roads were clear of water. The skies were cloudy but up until around 12.30pm it had not rained, but now it's raining and the winds have picked up with some heavy gusts!! The temperature is now 42f.:coffee:

Winds gusting to 60/70mph through the night and this morning but it didn't put us off a 5 mile walk which could be described as 'bracing' with a lot of water to walk through.
