Greasy oil/water deposits after our old water-in-the-tank problems from last year. All hoovered out now :)

Sleet here. I read in The Daily Express a few days ago that it was going to turn very cold, the floods were going to freeze over and then it was going to snow on them.

I've just seen the local weather forecast for tomorrow! Snow first thing, then rain followed by strong winds from 2pm with 80mph gusts. :yikes:

Driving to and from Birmingham today was not too bad as it was mostly sunny and dry. But tomorrows weather forecast is looking pretty bad so I might decide to work from home instead of being battered by wind, rain and snow:dunno::snork:
So it looks like we might wake up to a bit of snow tomorrow morning here in West Cheshire and then high gusting winds that could do some damage........maybe I don't need persuading much to stay at home tomorrow after all!!!:heehee: The temperature now is 34f>:coffee:

Sunshine again this morning but darkening skies brought hail then snow this afternoon, 3C. Tomorrow is promising high wind up to 45mph and gusts to 70mph.

only rained for 10 minutes today , River at the bottom of the garden is up to the top but the fields two miles up the river that are used for overflow are working a treat to ease the river flow.
