First Early are normally harvested in time for Leeks to plant out as a follow-on crop.

 

Thanks for that Kristen, good to know. I think I'll have to replan the veg plot now, should have some more free space hopefully.

 

Leek seedlings are up, that was quick! Sown on the third so only nine days

 

Well chuffed with my windowsill 'Greenhouse'.

 

I'm growing those again this year, lovely fruits, but watch out they grow like crazy and overtake everything..

This one has 6 modules per insert, mine has four. I got mine from B&M £2.00 and another from Poundstretcher £2.50. I'll never go back to a normal size seed tray now.

Keep stumbling across Cucamelons on here , don't they look great ! Premier seeds on Ebay have
20 seeds for £0.99 +0.49 postage. Think I'll have a go May be worth a separate thread in a few weeks to help us Cucamelon newbies ?

 

Well the Chillies are off to a flying start ! Just pricked them out and put them in the light-box.
Apache , Cayenne and Serrano . All colour coded in cups that look very familiar to the vending machine ones in the office I give 90% away to friends family and workmates , just keep 4 plants for ourselves.

 

Is it too early to start my tomatoes yet.

I was hoping to get a few under way as last year I felt I left it too late and didn`t get a massive crop.

 

Old hands and sages say that they catch up with earlier sowings if sown later. I had too much grief and hassle with tall striplings last year so I'm going for plan B this year,
