Adding text

How do I add text i.e names to photos already on the hard drive (windows 7).

 

Open the pic and select "go to gallery" Click on the pic again in that and it should bring up windows live photo thingy, with a menu on the right, select caption

 

I have tried that Zigs but I typed the name in the box but it would not go on the selected pic, may be I didn't do it right so I'll try again.

 

I had the same problem, selected file and then re name, that worked.

 

Right click on the picture and select rename in the drop down box.

 

You can actually Rename every photo in a file. Select them all. Then Right click to get rename. Type in the new name and it will rename them all as Your choice 1, then Your choice 2 and so on.
