          Well it's not my garden (I wish!) it's the botanical garden up the road, however no tent.. imagine where we'd be with a tent. No frost here in this garden this year!

            Very nice Stephen. I'm surprised at those hardy fuchsias being in flower. It must be very mild in your location, are you right on the sea?

            We're on an estuary near the sea, you can see the sea from the coasts of the estuary (River Dee). I know in Llandudno, a town even milder than here, where the Winter we've experienced this winter, is normal in Llandudno, Fuchsias there are in leaf and flower all year round in a normal year.

              longk, the red flower is presume you mean, is Ribes speciosum (Fuchsia flowered gooseberry), this is a Winter flowering summer deciduous? plant, hardy to around -10C, strange one really.
