I hope you don't have to take out the poly-carb. Take care out there kaz, it's blowing a gale with us.

If you can't dismantle it in big sections what about removing a couple of the fence panels...it would also mean 'losing' one fence post but it would go through then (narrow end first) then you can put the panels back and re secure the post with what ever you re secure posts with;)

losing one post would mean digging up a very large concrete ball that the post is in ( due to the winds on this very big hill if not cemented in its not going to be here long, this would only actually save us lifting it over the last 2 foot as there is also a wall behind the fence that it would need to come over

right having had a close look today, taking apart is going to be hell as the sides dont come apart unless the poly carbs are removed first :gaah:

as i have already stated the plastic trims that hold the poly carbs were a nightmare to get on and im not sure how i would remove that with out actually damaging them

looks like a video camera and lots of help is going to be needed and prayers for no wind, i will be doing this in the next few weeks as i need to prep the area that its going into yet

I moved my 8x4 greenhouse around my garden a few years back. Once you get the glass off its pretty light and me and the other half were able to lift it by ourselves.

It took me a whole day to take the glass off though.

I would strongly recommend marking each piece of glass where it is meant to go otherwise it will take you even longer.

I bet it was a calm day when they done that though. Something we are a bit sort of at the moment.

I helped a neighbouring plot holder move his greenhouse, but of course it was on flat land.

I told him to take out the 4 top side panes of glass, nearest each corner. We then used two long 3 x 2 timbers, with 4 strong chaps (well three strong ones, as I was there too) and walked the GH to the new site
