I did some hand weeding, re-filled a few pots ready for planting, I really want to do some digging outside but it is soo wet.. Collected a scaffold plank to go down the other side of the path in the tunnel.. Then I can close the end etc off with some short pieces I have.. So much to do but the weather doesn't let you..! :gaah:

Lots of seed sowing going on. I feel a bit lazy now. I've only done chillis and sweet peas so far.

Today I "pottered". You know, when you have a lovely day in the garden and get loads done, but can't really put your finger on what exactly it is you did!

Sowed beet root, carrots and brassicas in the poly, and tomatoes and chillies in the propogator. Wrapped a lot of fleece around the pots I sowed yesterday in the greenhouse. Sat on the bench with a cuppa and listened to the birds.

Moved a couple of shrubs, and bedded in some plants dug up yesterday.
Planted first and second early potatoes.
          Transplanted some seedlings.
And that is me done for the day.

Spent my afternoon off work seed sowing in the polytunnel, doing the same tomorrow as I've got tomorrow off work as well, just got to nip to Morrisons for more pots as I've run out.
Got seeds sown, more clematis, digitalis, penstemons and campanulas.

Sorted out the bigger raised bed so it's all ready for planting up when the time comes. Transplanted some Linaria seedlings which got sown by mistake  These are now on a wide south facing window sill. It was a really sunny day today and now I'm actually getting more direct sunshine into my north facing garden. :dancy: :hapfeet::hapydancsmil:

Don't talk to me about moss Shiney :gaah: My front lawn is covered in the stuff (which is now staying because I've given in after years of battle). I also recently had all my guttering/fascias/soffits replaced and within a month the gutters were full of ruddy moss again which has dropped down off the roof tiles.

First time today that I've done anything in the garden - just been out and done a bit of pruning plus binned a few mini roses. Need some compost to do some potting on so can't do that yet.

Been jet washing the patio, and lifted 11 2x2 flags from the path going down the garden, and advertised them on ebay, they are 2" thick proper flags, hope somebody buys them
