That's a strong ladder in which to hold up that half of the tree :snork:

At first glance I thought I was looking at the underneath of a helicopter. :)

While walking in Westonbirt arboretum we came upon a group of family and friends having a go at measuring the size of this sequoia

It could have been part of a 'hug a tree' party!

Last time I was at Westonbirt I was chased out by a hoard of flies!!! There must have been about a hundred of them buzzing around my head and nothing Mrs Shiney or myself did would shift them. It shouldn't have been the shampoo I used that morning as Mrs Shiney had used it as well and they weren't bothering her.

I ran into the shop and the flies didn't follow me. They gave us our entrance fees back!

This poor fellow didn't like the pouring rain that lasted all day! He stayed under that juniper all day except when popping out occasionally for some seed from the nearby feeder.

I'd have gone out and stuck a sun umbrella in the lawn for him to shelter under but it was raining too hard.

The photo is taken from 60ft away, inside the kitchen. I couldn't get a clearer shot through the rain!
