Taking photos through windows is rarely successful. In my case - never successful! :heehee: I suppose it would help if the window was clean!

Both these shots were taken from 60ft away and through a window.

In this first shot, the sun was shining on the window and makes it even worse  Notice the greenfinch just coming in to land on the feeder on the left.

This is from the same window with the sun not shining on the glass.

I managed to grab a quick shot of a big Bumble Bee in one of my Crocus blooms. Saw 2 Brimstones this morning.

Walked around the hill above Corfe Castle, there wasn't much to see except one Brimstone, which wouldn't settle and one Tortoiseshell which did.

Distant shot of one of the resident Ravens, showing it's distinct wedge shaped tail and twice the size of the Jackdaws around.

The view after a long climb up is worth it.

Watching out for the first migrants ie Wheatears, Whitethroats, Chiffchaffs and House Martins. A few Sand Martins have been seen already although they are normally the first to arrive.
Then Willow Warblers, Ring Ouzels and Yellow Wagtails should be next.

To make a change from Red Kites in one of my apple trees, here's Red Kites in my willow tree (they thank me for giving them rabbits I shoot by dropping rabbit bones on my car when I park it underneath that willow in the shade during summer, but I still love them)
