      Was really hot and sunny today. Officially 17C but definitely much warmer than that in the back garden. Risked jinxing it and got the shorts and t-shirt on this afternoon, really felt like summer.

        This morning the skies started off with horizon to horizon smooth grey cloud which over the next few hours started to break up into formed shapes although the smoother cloud rose higher above them. This afternoon the high smooth cloud faded under the "heat" of the Sun and some blue skies appeared but the day got no warmer and stay disappointingly at around 44f. Tomorrow is supposed to be better but as one Radio DJ said this morning "I think they, [the Met Office], have oversold the weekend!" so I'll wait and see:coffee::snork::snork: The temperature now is 51f...which is the warmest it's been all day!!:dunno::snork:

          Mainly grey today with the sun battling to make an impression but it gave up. Quite windy too which made it feel a lot colder than 11C.

                  It's fantastic - just looked at the temp. and it's 20 degrees. Sitting here with a cuppa and the only thing spoiling it is I can hear lawn mowers going from all directions!
