      Cutting back some shrubs. I've got some evergreens that I fear I may kill off but I've got to cut them back. They'll be looking really bare though after :(

                    Cut a lot of dead wood out of a hydrangea and did some more weeding and tidying. Dug some fertiliser into one of the flower beds.

                    Can you prune winter jasmine right back? I have a few that are looking really straggly and a bit wild.

                        He's failed! Takes more than a chain saw to kill the sodding stuff!!!!

                        I've limped around weeding (Primrose, F/Me/Nots, Aquilegia the main sinners), potting stuff on, shifted a Fuchsia and my Dorycnium, and hacking last years stems back on Lobelia tupa. Moved a couple of dormant/dead Salvias and took a chance and planted out Salvias Black Knight and Wendys Wish (they've been in a sheltered spot outdoors all winter and I doubt that they'll see anything worse than they have already. Same goes for the Solanum rantonettii that I've planted out.

                          It doesn't need killing....just tidying up IMO... but it looks 'unruly' so i'm told...(numpty)...looks 'natural' to me....he won't be smirking when he has to replace the fence....after all ,that's what was holding it up:heehee:

                          You go steady:old::thumbsup:

                            It was the Ivy that was dragging/pushing our dry stone walls down - spawn of the devil if you ask me!!
                            Got to tackle next doors soon.

                            That's what I've been doing all week and I'm bored witless! Done series 4 of Spiral (the only one that I'd not seen) which was good, but there is only so long that I can sit on my ass!
