Flowering shrub with large daisy like flowers

Hi all,
Another round of help required on detecting this shrub. Close up photo attached. I'm not sure what this one is.

This spot sits in full sun, and it's in a raised bed made from grey granite so I presume it likes warmth and dry soil. It's mixed in a bed with heather. So possibly acid loving.

Flowers are large yellow daisy type flowers. It's flowering now in March, although given the mad weather that's probably way too early.
Evergreen (I think) with grey coloured foliage.
Height: approx 60-90 cm.

Anyone know what this is? I'd like to take cuttings.

It must be pretty sheltered from winds. They are mostly in raised beds on staircases all made from medium to dark granite, facing south. The granite must retain a certain amount of warmth.

I think they have been there for some years.

 

A huge amount. Granite is very dense, and being dark and dense, absorbs and stores a lot of heat.
