The Valentine Heart is beautiful but I need Waltz Time. That is my mission while in the UK this weekend. Sussex garden centres - look out!

          Lovely choices Woo :imphrt:

Fern - I've got several roses in containers (including Lady of Shallot) and they just need a bit of extra watering/feeding in the summer. My favourite one is Golden Celebration, such a gorgeous yellow and fantastic scent.

Where did you get them from Woo and Lolimac? I have looked at all the websites of the garden centres near Eastbourne and they don't seem to stock Waltz Time. If you got them from somewhere with an online shop I could get them delivered to my Dad's.

That always seems to me to be a illogical arrangement:scratch::dunno: You'd think it would be more sensible to license the sale of their Roses so the the Retailer had to sell them at least at the same price that DA does, otherwise why buy from them if you can get it cheaper elsewhere!!??:snork:

If you buy from David Austin you get a much bigger choice of roses if you were looking for something in particular.

Naah, Val, I go to Country Garden Roses Nursery at Hadnall near Shrewsbury where they have over 20, 000 roses of every variety you can think of!!

But if I'm looking for a specific rose then I will look up the nearest commercial grower [there's lots around Cheshire], ring them up and see if they've got it and then go and buy it from them. You always get lots of great free advice from them as they don't want you coming back disappointed!!!
