Are we about to get dragged into something very messy?

The Ukraine will just roll over. As far as I can tell, they've shown their true colours now. There was a bit on the news the other day when some Russians were storming yet another building. The riot coppers just stood there. No resistance was offered at all. The reporter said that was because they knew 'Moscow is watching'. Well if Moscow is watching, surely that's all the more reason to grow a spine and show that such behaviour will result in pain for those who attempt it. The only message they've given Moscow is that Russia can do as they see fit.
