Plastic Jerry-can style container that can be laid flat to catch water (e.g. whilst running a shower until hot, or to stand plants on whilst watering and catch the runnoff) and then use like a watering can.

I can't quite get my head around how these can be £1 INCLUDING postage :)

Thanks. I'll ask Mrs Shiney if she wants some for the garden.

Be quick ... there were hundreds available last night, now down to the last few (would have posted here last night, but site was down).

Only a quid, including postage :)

For anyone who wants one, after the main auction sells-out, the dozen or so on offer in each of the creative-use auctions may still be available - and not obviously found by the flood of people buying them :)

I've bought three. They are quite small but OK for me. 320mm x 320mm x 120mm without handle and spout. Holds about 6 litres.

I'd be thrilled if I ran a tap, until it came hot, and only wasted 6L ...

We have circulation pump on hot water circuit to get around that - so waste no water, but energise the whole circuit instead!

With us, it depends on how close to the hot water cylinder the tap is. We don't waste 6L of water getting our shower hot as the cylinder is directly above the shower.

Mine haven't arrived yet, so can't tell you if they are any good, or not ...
