The exact opposite. Once the PAF license costs increase, it will become much more expensive to send junk mail, which is good, but it will also become more expensive to send legitimate mail, which is bad.
Boxes of 200 x 10g sachets are 99p in B&M, about 25% of the cost of buying it in squeezy bottles, and I think chippies charge 20p each for them.
OK, I understood it differently, in that the new owners will increase prices for average Joe but probably introduce bulk discounts for advertisers and other "creative" incentives. After all if some organization bought it, they will want a return on their investment.
Leasing data is very big business. While under public ownership, the PAF was (and currently still is) licensed out at very reasonable rates. Comparing that to privately owned datasets, it is about 1/10th of the going rate. It wont take long for the new owners to realise this, and then they'll put the prices up accordingly.
Oh dear run out of money this month (put aside the bill money) I think it's because I have to buy everything from asda and have it delivered. Hopefully my bills will go down once I can get to local shops? Medicines and creams are so expensive. I wish they did creams pads and wipes free for babies kids the elderly and the pregnant.
That's one of the exceptions, but even so very often they will still add the cost of your postage, and sometimes they pay a flat rate reimbursement that can be more than you've paid. Sometimes we've received 2 cheques for the same TMF . Occasionally there's a printable/instore leaflet/Tesco mailing/etc. money off coupon for a TMF so you make a profit on it.
Surely that depends on your definition of being well off. One thing I learned early in my career of life is that you can be skint but rich, and you can be minted but poor. I've been known to quit a perfectly good, very well paid job to take a lesser paid job, because I thought (and I was right) that the lesser paid one would make me more happy, which means my family are more happy because I'm less grumpy, and I get to spend better quality time with them because I'm not permanently wound up about a job I hate, which means although I'm poorer, I'm actually richer
We were in the supermarket checkout queue today, behind somebody wearing smart designer clothes, complete with expensive designer handbag, etc. who had to put back over half their shopping because they only had £2 left on their credit card, and pay the rest using all the cash in their purse. They hadn't got a flippin' clue about how much they were spending, or what the products they were buying cost, such as the 2 punnets of strawberries they had to decline, expensive pre-packed fruit salads, etc., etc,, nor were they buying anything to prepare themselves. And it's over a week 'till monthly pay day Meanwhile we were behind in the queue getting our spend up on basics and reduced items so we can save 25% off our next shop + get £5 off (10p/L) off our next fuel up Morrisons (Payback Bonus)
