Will there be a thread later in the year dedicated to the growing of this variety (and to decide what seed stocks we need to be compiling for future)?

It wasn't planned FC but feel free to seek this thread out again to add to it. I would say it's up to the individual regarding seed stock.

I have plenty of seed that I will be distributing around the island. I will also be growing 'Manx Marvel again this year. :)

        Hi FC
I will keep growing them from now on plus they will have there own mini greenhouse to keep the seed pure and covered with a fine net to keep insects out once I have fruit set that I will save seed from.

I really love the flavor and the neighbours and people in work do as well as I used them with the taste test, my mother eat them like grapes :snork: I was watching thinking how many seeds has she had !!!

We need to start a thread for anyone growing the MM, so we can all follow along.

The aim of this thread was to bring 'Manx Marvel' back from the brink of extinction. I distributed 600 seeds amongst allotmenteers here on the island a month ago and I'm growing them again this year for more seed. :)

Sorry Loli, I've not heard of a Manx potato but I have come across an Irish variety, that's as near to the island as I can get!

I've just found a small batch of saved seed I put away before my "ex" split with Carol! I don't know how viable it will be but I'll give it a go :)

I've got a good feeling about these @Spruce ..i think they'll be well suited to our Yorkshire climate:dbgrtmb:
It would be interesting if a few of us grow them from all different regions to see how they fare:blue thumb:
