    Hi Spruce, the mount the Telescope is on is a "Go To" equatorial mount and the control has a data base in it for stars and planets and deep sky objects. You just dial in the co-ordinates or name and the Telescope with find the target for you.........that'll help me in the beginning and then when I've learnt more I'll try to find what I want to see by myself.:snork:


    It's just a step up, "M", and from where I am you look tired from that Jury service, but you still look good:heehee:

    It's not the cats I'm worried about it's those night flying birds!!:hate-shocked:

                            Well that looks a tidy piece of kit....as they say Armandii! Have you got the winter 'clobber' to go with it, apparently it's the best time for viewing the stars. My son had one when he was younger and we spent quite a few hours in the evenings freezing our bits off in winter! :)

                            Joolz......I think I'm safe! Armandii's got to locate the island first, three quarters of the British population seem to think we're somewhere off the south coast! :heehee:
