I don't have a zoom lens that can get a better shot of the birds! These are, also, a bit blurry as it was very dull in the early morning frost.

The tits always seem to be more active early in the morning

This starling looks as though he's trying to camouflage himself, a little bit, in the frost

Lots of bird song out at Swineham Point (where the river Frome empties into Poole Harbour) but unsurprisingly, due to the cold, most were skulking amongst the hedges and reeds. Chiffchaffs, Cettis Warblers and Reed Buntings were in full song. Only one Marsh Harrier seen briefly and my first Wheatear this Spring.
        Chiffchaff.

Morning Jiffy, Stoggies are Yorkshire for Wood pigeon and their chicks are Squeakers:thumbsup:

I 've grabbed a quick shot of a pair of Robins...it could have been a good picture but i had to break them up as it was getting way too vicious :paladin:....got soggy slippers now:doh:

Little robin and wren are having some singing competitions these days. They really sing their heads off

She has some babies to feed so she followed me about while I worked and came within a few inches of me. As a result it was quite difficult to take a good picture of her since she was just too close to the camera

Every evening we are graced with a short visit from this delightful bird. Very shy and won't stay long and is easily put off by bossy magpies and burly wood pigeons but he warms my heart. Think it's a Mistle thrush,
