Planted the Aaron Pilot new potatoes, sowed a few more radishes and did a bit more weeding here and there.
Still waging war on the bittercress, I will not be beaten! :paladin:

I didn't make it into the garden as such today, busy doing Mothers Day! Watered the seedlings in the greenhouse and that was that!

Not as much as I would have liked......... Sown some more seed, Sunflowers, trying to rescue trailing perlagoniums that have been in the planters since last year, they did well for me last summer, and seem to have beaten the winter! Only time will tell.

Have a good few perennials from last years sowing in 3" pots that need to be planted out as they are pushing on now.

Yesterday I stood a tractor tyre upright, bottom sunk into the ground, side bolted to a tree.

Today I started on a rockery and a trench ready for a bridge. The trench happened because I pinched the earth for the rockery, pondered how on earth I'm going to fill it in, then inspiration struck. I just wont. In fact I'll make it longer and deeper then run a bridge over the top.

The intended result? Well, you come down off the now two tier platform/fort thing, through the tractor tyre tunnel, into a new 'room' where the only other exit is under the bridge, and back into the main part of the garden. To make the tyre tunnel more interesting, because after all what's the point if there's nothing partitioning to the side of it, the rockery is there now, with steps leading up and over it, to the bridge, under which my kids and their mates will no doubt spend much time lying in wait with their Nerf guns ready to ambush me.

Working from home today so won't be able to get a huge amount done, but I have to decide which of the dwarf Rhodos I dug up I'm going to keep in planters, which I'm putting back in borders and which I'm giving away.

Must make a start on that compost bin too.

I've been out and done some potting before I start work - three dwarf Rhodos, an Acer Phoenix and a Camellia. Showers expected later, so let's hope it's dry at lunchtime so I can do a bit more.

                              How you feeling today Val?

Today I've planted a couple of small things in the new border as it HAD to have something while I await compost delivery.

Aside from that, I've taken a slow walk about the garden, felt a bit smug as it's looking blummin good for once, and looked at all the blossom as there's masses:) If anyone was watching they now probably think I've lost my marbles.
