    Well, yeees, it is a wild flower, but so is a dandelion. And a creeping buttercup. They are bit too wild for me.

    The flower looks like it's in the cruciferae (cabbage) family, a brassica maybe , I'm thinking some kind of stock or erisymum. Is it scented? I'd have said hesperis matronalis but the leaves and size aren't right.

    Aha. Could it be night-scented stock?

      They are quite easy to grow from seed. Did you scatter a mix down at any time?
