    Hi All

    A person I work with wants a reputable nursery who sell carnations as plugs or small plants for the front of a sunny well drained border (I would imagine good growing conditions) its about 4 metres long or about 12 feet.
    They did ask me the spacing but I suppose all depends on the variety , and while on the subject any good ones that you would find suitable

    I call them Carnations or are they dianthus ? I still get confused

      @Spruce.....Carnations are tall and used for flower arranging, Dianthus are ground hugging. :)

                    @Spruce
                    Whetman Pinks are a well known breeder and supplier. About £2.00 apiece plus p&p.
                    Soon adds up if you want many. Pinks grow easily from seed but will flower the year after sowing.
