    A bargain Woo but, and I hate to be the bearer of this news, climbing sports like your Fragrant Cloud, (I have a climbing Wendy Cussins sport) rarely produce blooms for a second flush. The first one will however be a delight to your senses!
    Maybe Hannah is on the right track, you'll have to make your own!
    Here's my method;
    OK I know we must not rob flora from our countryside but I look upon what I'm about to suggest as just 'tidying' the hedgerow.
    On a stroll down a country lane, (late June is ideal) take note of the wild roses flowering in the hedgeside
    Return to same spot in July with some Fragrant Cloud budwood and your tools
    Select nice long stem of wild rose (it might be canina, multi flora or any species indigenous to your area)
    Graft a few of your buds into said stem, bandage up and retire to enjoy the summer
    In October, return to your hedge side handywork
    Carefully remove (tidy up) them budded stem with a few roots, take it back to the owllery and plant it in the normal way
    When I've done this myself I've always left more than I 'relocated' either by way of extra budding or by planting any unwanted roses from home.

    Harmless surely?

    Have a go my friend

        Hi Mondo my friend thank you for your post it is very much appreciated,with the climbing sport have no worries I am going to be the exception to this rule and I have a way round this;)

        Back in the 1950's we all used to venture to the local woods and we used the method you kindly suggested many many times,I think my first experience of this was when I was 7,and everyone used to do the same,there were about 20 of us ,Dads and boys,great times:old:

        Enjoy your day my friend:smile:
