      @Sheal

      Did we decide it was a bush type in the end? :)

      I had one of each :snork: but I think more bush , to think last year they had the electric propagator and eractic germination, this year I put into small pots in the greenhouse and up in 4 days no problem :thud: and all the seeds husks came off in one go , I used John innes no 1 with added sand , I think using the perlite kept the seed husks on ?

            Zigs, here you go I'll let you make your own mind up although I found they were better as cordons. :) They are best grown outside once they get going. I put mine back in the greenhouse late in the season so the last of the fruit would ripen. I'd stripped most of the leaves off the one in the second picture to let the sun through.

                  I'm not having a great deal of luck with mine - the maskotka are off and running, but everything else seems to be struggling like hell :dunno:

                  Its so dire, in fact, that I have gone out today and bought a pack of Gardeners Delight seeds just so I have something to fall back on.

                  I'm wondering if its been too warm for them in the grow cupboard?

                    Sorry to hear that FC. Not too late to start them off on the window sill without bottom heat. I still have loads of various ones. I can send 'em up to ya in a couple of days,
                    Jenny.

                    Thanks for the offer @Jenny namaste :)

                    I haven't given up on them all yet - they are now out of the cupboard and onto various windowsills where I can track their progress more often; I'll whack the gardeners delight in tomorrow and if I end up with loads I shall just give them away.

                          They look good! Mine are only small in comparison but I've been wondering too when they should go into my blowaway. I haven't grown tomatoes before so I'm sort of learning as I go and hoping I don't mess up!

                          This year I'm growing:
                          Emerald evergreen
                          Lemon Boy
                          Noire de Crimee (Black Krim)
                          Tresor
                          Super sweet 100 cherry toms

                          I usually just have some plants from whatever my dad has grown from seed as he enjoys that but this year he's not been well enough to do anything so I've had to choose my own plants. So I thought I'd try a few different varieties from the local garden centre and see what I like (or not)
