Ideas for small patch at front of house

    Opium poppies are lovely but, like most poppies, the flowers don't last long, and they spend most of their time looking a bit rubbish (oriental poppies are the exception with their lovely foliage). They're great among other stuff, but in a prominent position without much cover from other plants, I think they'd be a bit disappointing for most of the time.

      I sowed some Candytuft seeds in the patch today. :D Let's hope they grow! Thanks for the advice!

        so pleased , I am confident you wont be disappointed so easy to grow and you can harvest the seed later in the year and resow in the spring
