We have a goods railway line near us, if I dropped them into a goods wagon, do you think they would come back ?

Ermmmm yep. And I think it's a fair trade off when we get stones, balls, toys, lollipops, and dog poo thrown over by next door's kids.

Nope. Wouldn't like it done to me so don't do it. I just throw them out of the greenhouse in the hope that the birds will eat them

No I don't. In fact I leave them where they are. Slugs too. I don't grow crops and don't mind the damage they do because there doesn't seem to be an awful lot of it.

I wouldn't throw them into my neighbour's garden because I wouldn't appreciate it if they did it to me. I assume those that would don't get on with their neighbours? :dunno:

I voted yes, 1 neighbour doesn't have any plants at all, only grass so I don't feel guilty there. The other neighbour who gets 99% of them has a weed infested wasteland of a garden, no plants, no grass just lots and lots of weeds of varying sizes... this neighbour also gets the moth catapillars.

I bung them in a pot, with garlic, butter and white wine, serve them to the mrs and tell her they are sourced from France by fortnum and mason!

One of these May be true, or then again, both might be porkers..........

So far, according to the poll, we have close to a 50/50 split, but leaning slightly towards no. This is quite a contrast to the figures reported by the BBC.

I'd like to bet that the BBC respondents were not as honest as GC members

On a serious note, no one go eating snails without cleaning them out, if they've been eating hemlock then so will you :yikes: [IMG]
