    Morning all

Lovely out there this morning but we're due some rain this afternoon. Our soil isn't too bad - dry as dust on top but still quite moist not too far down. Lots of containers to water though.

Sounds like it's going well having Michael's help Shiney. I'm sure he'll learn such a lot from you and Mrs Shiney too.

Hope the weather stays nice enough for you to get some garden time Steve. Makes me appreciate how lucky I am to be able to spend most of my time in mine. Though I still get easily distracted and don't actually do the jobs I set out to do. And I'm always creating more work for myself by enlarging existing flower beds or digging out new ones.

How's the sciatica today Moyra? Are you going to Shiney's open day? Would be lovely to meet you.

Good thoughts to Woo and HRG. Hope you are both back on here soon.

    Wishing everyone a wonderful day.

Yes, Eve all being well I should get there, been the last two years. The first year was a tremendous triumph because of my difficulty in getting out and about but it opened up another world for me as I had become very aggraphobic.[sp] Last year I could relax more. It will be lovely to put some more faces to names.

Eve, Moyra did brilliantly that first time.

It must have been a very traumatic journey (not the road conditions) and by the time she got to be driving down our road she must have been at the end of her tether.

Fortunately, she must have been sending out the right vibes as I had a feeling that I needed to go out into the road - and there she was, driving along and I knew it was her! :blue thumb: Everyone welcomed her with open arms :grphg:

          Morning everyone,

Its overcast and raining here, which we soooo need though. I raked the in laws lawn yesterday and got that cleaned up for them, then Brad and I went back up last night and raked their boulevard, so the entire lawn for them, is done!!

I did get some more raking done here yesterday too, I still have an ice patch in the front flower bed that I cant get to the leaves yet, but its small so I'm not too worried.

Today is Brad's b-day, but we aren't doing anything until the weekend though...going out for supper with friends.

I'm home again today, although I do have a couple errands to do later......so enjoy your day everyone.

Not much chance this evening as we have had some further bad news regarding a relative and I have to console the wife and Ma-in-law, as well as do tea, but might get a couple of little jobs done before dark :frown:

Same as that Loli and lif, happens every time, you see something and say to yourself, 'It will only take 5 minutes'........ and hour and a half later.......:gaah:

I leave the distraction of other jobs that need doing to Mrs Shiney. She's very good at that! ;) :heehee:

I go out to do something and ignore everything else until I've done it - or done enough of it. :phew:

                    Aloha everyone,

HRG, yes, it's 2 - 3 weeks before Open Day. It's a nice time of year to be born :)

Mrs Shiney is our expert. She does all the propagating, sowing, splitting, potting on etc. and, in between, flits around the garden pruning, planting, digging out (supervising, unless it's small) and deciding where things should be planted.

                    I know my place! :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

I'm going to try and get as much done as possible before it rains. Still lots of heavy work to do.

                    Have a great day

                    Aloha!
