Not had chance this year with us possibly moving house and our neighbour putting a 7 foot fence up. I doubt I'll be able to grow much in the garden this year.

I'm relying on seeds from this pumpkin to produce something decent this year, but I've got a couple of backups

I am growing pumpkins by happenstance. I took a couple home from a Church Halloween display - for my chickens. (They like it OK, the seeds especially) one of them went rotten so I put it on my worm farm and hundreds of plants sprouted.

So I moved a couple to my raised planter that has a grape growing and they are charging forward. Tiny pumpkins behind massive flowers. I will make pumpkin pie if they survive.

                            Blossom end rot!

The little pumpkins are yellowing, and getting black at the end and dying. I crushed up 4 anti acids (CaCo4) along with the shells of a dozen eggs and made a tea to try to load them with calcium. I wish I had a soil ph tester but think it would be about 6.5 if it is similar to the other beds I have made up.

                            Any advice?
