Dug a 2 foot wide x 2 foot deep hole ready for the chamaerops palm and filled it up half way and waited for the water to drain away. Did this at 4.30 and it still hadn't gone by 8 :gaah:
I'll wait till the morning to see what happens.
Sowed 25 washingtonia palm seeds and potted up 2 dahlia tubers
    Watered everything in the GH

@Rich garden - just curious, why do you disagree with the above post?

          Hi @fat controller

Im sorry im not sure what you mean?

I don't really have authority to agree or disagree on much, as I know absolutely nothing when it comes to gardening....at all...I mean you are talking to the girl who planted a tree right close to a fence thinking that would be ok....it didnt really occur to me at the time that trees grow haha :roflol:

            @fat controller & @Rich garden ,

I reckon that Rich must have clicked on the wrong button and meant to click on one next to it.

Rich, look at post number 907 and you will see you have clicked 'disagree' - obviously by mistake as you don't seem to know you've done it. You should be able to remove it. :blue thumb:

Edged my back lawn today and got carried away, I've edged all round the concrete base that both my shed and greenhouse stand on as well.

I think shiney has hit the nail on the head - I was just curious, certainly nothing worth bothering with

Today I rehomed most of my strawberries into their new planter, but discovered that I have more plants than space (not uncommon in my garden :snork:), then I planted out my Brussels sprouts seedlings into two half barrels, then sowed lettuce, spring onion, kale, baby carrots and autumn carrots into other half barrels

                    Sorry

Ive been on here 5 minutes and causing mayhem!

I do everything on my phone and scroll down pretty quick and all the little logos are on the left side where I scroll so ill be careful in future or ill be disliking everything!

Today I went in the garden and the neighbours cat had dug up 2 of my plants grrrrr. Also knocked a pot full of carrot seeds onto the floor from the wall destroying one of my plants. So had to sort that out. Also hubby cut the grass and done lines in it..... he was very over joyed and proud of himself : )

They are the ones I planted and sowed into today - I will try and get some pics tomorrow, not that there is a lot going on just yet

Don't worry about it - I'm not bothered one way or another, I was merely curious :)

Had a major sort out on my Pleached hedge. Didn't really do any training last year, and several branches too "stiff" to bend into place now :( although, on the up side, because it is Lime new volunteer shoots have appeared on the trunk, some in better places than the branches I originally trained-in, so I'll let some of those grow instead.

First three rows have now "Joined hands" :) I need to think about how would be best to "graft" them together - allowing for the fact that in a strong wind it all blows about fairly. No point grafting them if the blowing-about will cause the grafts to come apart - before they have even taken.
