    Hi All

    Never grown before "Erythroniums"[IMG]

I do have a ideal spot on the right hand side of the garden, full sun till late morning and I already grow ferns , hosta, bluebells, wood anemone , so a miniature "woodland conditions" as I have acers and Kojo no mai all ready established in that border.

So I was pondering would I be able to grow Erythroniums with all of the above ? as the hostas are only starting now and the others are not to overwhelming ? .

Yes. Erythroniums are not dear as tubers in late summer/autumn and for me they're an essential part of any garden.
Uvularia goes well with Erythronium, so consider that in the mix too maybe?

Uvularia is an early bloomer like the Erythronium and enjoys the same conditions. Should have faded away by the time that the Hosta are in full flow.

There was a feature on Erythroniums on last week's episode of Gardeners World.
Think I am going to have to try one or two.......:snork:
