        Got a brilliant view of it last night, very bright and right over the top of us, then got another view on its second shorter pass, love it :)

            Just watched it again, think I'm hooked :snork:, funny thing is too the longer you look at the night sky, the more you see, as in fainter stars that aren't always obvious when you just glance at it :)

              Hi FC, my apologies......for "low pass" read "low brightness". I've been downloading Star Altas's, and Moon charts and I was trying to do too many things at once....not a good idea!!:hate-shocked::heehee:

                  That's your "Night vision" kicking in. Takes about 20 minutes. Or you can close one eye (wear a patch, of something, over it) and then go outside an only then open that eye (you'll need to close the other one, or your brain will be well confused!)

                  Even momentary white light will destroy the night vision, so avoid car headlights, and turn off any outside lights :)
