Blast! I could have put a Brug "Flower Dream" in the box (although ... can't remember ... maybe I did?!!)

Mine started telling me it was uncomfortable again - yellowing of leaves, and didn't respond to feeding so I got to wondering if it was getting pot bound (again); suffice to say, it was moved into a slightly larger pot yesterday as a stop gap and its going to have to go into something considerably larger at the weekend I think - incredibly fast growers these aren't they?

I've also got a wee side shoot just above soil level, so it must be reasonably comfortable?

Yes, and avoiding them becoming pot-bound, as they grow, will bring forwards the date at which they mature / flower / pay-their-way :)

Are you new tiny leaves looking green?i have some that are a tad yellow but my new shoots look ok....up to now.
I potted mine up last week and put a sprinkle of empsom salts in the bottom and on top...not sure if your supposed to do that with cuttings thou? anyone know?
Ive still got 15 cuttings to pot on with no larger pots yet to put them in,i think i will plant 2 in the front garden next week as a trial :)

The wee leaves are as green as can be - its the bigger ones up top that are a tad yellowish. I put some slow release food in with the compost, and will continue to give some Phostrogen as it grows :blue thumb:

This is just a thought - the smaller leaves reflex as temps drop whereas the larger ones don't. Could just be the cool nights doing this?

Could be @longk - it was definitely getting too snug in its pot too though; its definitely first on the list to be put into something larger tomorrow.

I believe that I'm correct in saying that Brugs can be safely "root pruned" - hopefully @Wayne can advise us on that.

So Ive got a problem with this Brug - grown from seed - it got really tall last year & did eventualy create a V & flower at the top, but I had to cut it back to get it in the greenhouse last year. Its just starting to come good this year but its quite tall:

So its putting on new leaves at the top, but I would quite like to cut it back so that its less tall. Can I do that without killing it & stopping it from flowering again ?

Couple more pics - heres the V at the top, about 2 meteres from the pot:

                      --
And heres the top 1/3 were its putting out lots of leaves:

So the question is - can I cut it back to above the first bit of new growth, or is this not a good idea ?

I'd cut it back and use the top bits as cuttings.
