Thats the problem, you have to post into one of the existing threads, seems wrong to me.

In the General Forum bit right at the bottom it says

"You do not have insufficient privileges to post here"

Does that mean i'm not good enough :snork:

Ooooooooooh, yes it is, Pete:heehee: If you're talking about the what is now called the Off Topic Forum which shows all the subjects within the Forum........I can see it on the top right hand corner where it's supposed to be:dunno::snork:

I've looked on the General Forums page and I can't see that message:dunno:

I wasn't talking about the off topic bit, I was referring to the so called general forum, its got threads in there, and you can add a new thread once you choose one of those threads, seem a bit wrong to me.

Off topic, that one was a mystery to me, seems a strange name as there are other non gardening topics, and I didn't realise it meant non gardening other than the other non gardening forums.

The General Forum is now under "Off Topic" You can start a new thread in there.

The forums in the section above, you just select a forum and you can see the start a new thread buttons :dunno:

It's called off topic as Rich popped in to do a bit of re arranging, he's not a gardener, so its all off topic to him :snork:

Like I said, work in progress :)

It's a temporary, at the moment, name for the forum due to a change/upgrade in the Software and it's under discussion at the moment as to whether or not it is temporary.

Actually, Pete, it's quite logical as the General Forum page that points members towards certain subjects while the next page shows all the threads within that General Forum.:coffee::snork:
