    Good morning everyone,

    Hope everyone is on form:dbgrtmb:

LWW...Enjoy your day out, looks like you've chosen a great day for it:SUNsmile:...It's not much good at the moment because it doesn't open while 22nd of May but if you're out York way later in the year look up 'Breezy Knees'...I only read about it the other day, didn't know it exisited, looks like a lovely place for a wander:thumbsup:

Shiney....Hope your chest is feeling better it sounds very familiar to when I damaged my inter costal muscles,it sure is painful ,take it easy when you can:thumbsup:

    Steve...go easy on that foot,hope it's feeling easier:thumbsup:

Woo...always good to see you:thumbsup:...you'll be receiving telepathic communications today when I plant my new Rambling Rector next to my old plum tree:dancy: no one should get this excited about planting a Rose should they?:rolleyespink::heehee:

What a fabulous day it is and set to be warm:yes:....I'm hoping to make good progress out there today and get lots of things planted, they're getting eaten alive in the pots by the snails:gaah: so I'm hoping once in the ground the 'staff ' :chicken: will sort the problem out  as long as they don't eat the plants too:doh:

Have a great day everyone, enjoy the sunshine and take care:SUNsmile:

    Aw, thank you :)
Hmmm, we were hoping so too. Took a drive over there yesterday and had a walk around the area. At the back of the property there is a single storey property and we noticed a laminated notice attached to a tree .... yup, you've guessed it, it was a "planning" notice. Permission has been give to replace that with a "pair of semi-detached dwellings" - now, if that is two storey, it will over look us and will become our "view". So, big discussions yesterday: do we still go ahead when the "view" was part of the attraction in the first place? :noidea: My greatest concern is: what if I'm making a mistake. :what:

The garden? Well, as you know I have a 1/4 acre here .... There? Erm ... I'll potter :heehee: It's a "tired" looking garden at the moment.
Thank you, Moyra. It's not looking likely, unfortunately. But, I never say never - if I make it at all, it will be a flying visit (I hear Jenny is making the sandwiches again, so I might turn up for those :heehee: :coffee: )

Wishing you all a day filled with moments to cherish.

Oh no @"M" ....surely that should have come up in the 'search':dunno:....would there be a way to mask the proposed 'view' ? what a dilemma:rolleyespink: why does there always have to be a hitch:gaah:...hope you find a solution:fingers crossed::fingers crossed::fingers crossed:

    Aloha everyone,

Good to see you, Woo. :) I hope you're feeling better now.

"M" I hope everything turns out OK for you. :) As Loli says, your solicitor should have found that in the searches or the vendors should have mentioned it.

Now, if I had started talking about my rector next to my old plums I'd have got a slap! :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

The open gardens in the town were very good and it was the town's May fair as well. An enjoyable afternoon out in the warm sunshine :blue thumb:

I'm feeling a bit better today so want to do a load of mowing as they forecast possible showers for the next few days.

We did a bit of shopping in the morning and popped into the Asian (mainly Indian) wholesale warehouse. They cater mainly for restaurants but allow members of the public. Amongst other things I bought a large, fresh chicken. I'll be cooking some of it today and will see how it compares to the supermarket variety. I'll be making a chicken soup, roast chicken, chicken stir fry and chicken curry from it. Today it will be the soup and roast. :dbgrtmb:

    Have a great day

    Aloha!

Good morning everyone. Have changed the sheets on the beds and they are in the wash. Hopefully they will be out and on the line before the rain comes.

Steve, glad your ankle is a little better.
M that's a shame if that is going to spoil your view.

Have a great day everyone, I am so tired I could fall asleep here!:wub2:

Morning Wiseowl, the same to you and everyone.
Had some rain during the night but we have some sun this morning.
Looking at Mrs LWW flower beds it looks as though we had a cat in the garden as well so a bit of clearing up to do this morning.

      Aloha everyone,

We've had some very much needed rain as well. The ground was becoming impossible to work.

LWW, I'll swap you your cat for rabbits, foxes, badgers and deer

Keep well and have a great day

      Aloha!

Good morning everyone, Still feeling poorly this morning. I think it must be a virus going round.

WOO, Good morning hope you are feeling much better now.

LWW Cats, can be a darn nuisance when they want to be.

Shiney, not least saying your large collection of wild fauna that comes to visit your garden.

Loli, I got wet taking Amber for a walk this morning but it is a nice gentle summer type rain.

Have a good day everyone and stay safe. God bless. :wub2:

I must be lucky then, we don't have deer or badgers and the rabbits and foxes tend to keep themselves to the towpath and woods, very rare I see them in the garden. It is annoying though that cats come into the garden to do their "business" and leave their owners alone.

      Morning all

Overnight rain here too but warm and sunny now.

We too have a variety of wildlife that come into the garden and leave little presents for us. I can identify most of it (sad, I know) but there is one that I just can't. Wish I had one of those infra-red webcams so I could see just exactly what visitors we get during the night.

Sorry to hear you've got a lurgy Moyra. Hope you feel better soon.

Hope everyone has a great day

        Good morning everyone,

Moyra...Hope you're feeling better today, these viruses are shocking these days and hard to shake off, take it easy and get better soon:grphg:

Steve...Pleased all went OK up in Aberdeen:thumbsup:

LIF...We put some cameras up a few years ago after an attempted burgalry and it marvellous to look back and see what's been wandering around during the night.A couple of summers ago early in the morning when it got light there was a couple of Foxes and their 4 cubs all playing in the garden:wub2:another time (I put sausage rolls out for the Fox) and on looking back at the camera footage saw a sausage roll being dragged across the garden by a little mouse,it did look funny and on the night we had a small earthquake we looked back at the exact time it struck and you could actually see the the ground move:hate-shocked:...Haven't looked back for a while will have to see what else has been going on:blue thumb:...Every year I've thought about a nest box cam but never got round to it...

More rain overnight and the snails have had a Hosta party:doh:....but I keep hearing reports of a Heat wave on it's way:phew: that'll give me something else to complain about:biggrin:...

Time for a quick cuppa and then Hi Ho:whistle:....

Take it easy everyone and take care:SUNsmile:
