I make that pic of Richard360's 31 days after sowing. My geuss is that using lights has made a difference (mine are now under lights).

 

Hmmm might get my light back in action

 

Lol yes they are under lights but out of about 9 that took off only 4 are this big all had same soil pots and feed rest are still tiny it really does show you how inportant seed is

 

8 days from sowing LH side, 12 days RH side.



I would have liked to have sown them about a week earlier, but I was away for nearly 8 days last week and the elderly neighbour 'looking after' my greenhouses wouldn't have been able to cope with taking stuff out of propagators and shifting stuff in & out of under growlights for watering (some plants actually went backwards whilst I was away).

 

They look like some nice healthy first leaves

Mine still hav'nt germinated,i think they must of damped off,2 varieties and with bottom heat,so it defo my fault somehow

17 days from sowing (@joolz68 it's 20 days to the 1st June, there's still time to sow and get one ready to plant out first week of June).

P.S. They're not normally in that propagator - I just put them there for the pic as everywhere else is stuffed with plants (and that propagator will be re-stuffed with seeds by this afternoon).
