But isn't it a most fabulous green Spruce? I would love a room all that colour; walls, velvet drapes, damask satin cushions..... and a matt, slightly deeper shade on the paintwork. And a nice unvarnished oak floor,
                  Jenny

Well bug fiends this is what I have had back from "Bug Life Natural History Museum , I haven't gone through the old post so others may have named it already ?

have a look at the link

                          .....................................................................................................................................................
I am fairly sure this is Esperia sulphurella http://ukmoths.org.uk/show.php?id=448 which is a micro moth (meaning it is a primitive moth) that flies during the day and the catterpillars feed on rotting wood. It is fairly common and widespread and like the hundreds of species of small moths mostly un-noticed. I suspect the photo shows a mating pair.

Now some photos of our resident blackbirds. In the past 2 months we've been rearranging our back garden, dug out and moved quite a few plants. In the process of doing this we found a large quantity of vine weevils, over 1000 of them:gaah:. I may not happy to see them, birds are, and I certainly cheered the birds on went they came to eat or take them to their babies.
