I don't know whether or not it's a mental "hang-over" from last year when everything was about six weeks behind in the Seasons, but this year everything seems to be ahead and moving fast!!:dunno::scratch::snork:

I'm in agreement there. Dead easy, but looks exotic.

Hi @Spruce , I see your Rock N Roll going well now, did you leave it outside over winter? Mine has been in the greenhouse maybe it is hardy enough to live permanently outdoors?

Also I want to grow Clematis "Freda", is it evergreen or needing any special care?

Hi, JWK, Clematis "Freda" is from the Montana Group, it's quite vigorous and it is deciduous.

So it has single 4 petalled flowers and will flower in late Spring and early Summer..........a nice Clematis:thumbsup::snork:

Hi @JWK I kept the rock N Roll in the greenhouse , I have a few pots of them so I will be planting one out in very well drained spot and see what happens it should be hardy I dont see why not , foliage is very attractive just by itself.

Montana Freda deciduous and no special care just regular tying in and this one is great if you want to cover a very large fence or kept easy trimmed also so deffo a good variety , I have seedlings of this, flowers have come out much lighter pink , still look good though.

Do you mean, this one :) :blue thumb: It doesn't spread as much as the orange ones.

Crikey - the yellow one is a total plague around here. Heaven help me if the orange one pitches up:runforhills:
