    Morning all

Bright and breezy here but sky looks a bit ominous so no doubt more rain on the way. Been very windy back home as well and OH will be spending the morning staking and tying up the taller plants by the sound of it. The downside of everything being at least a month ahead of itself this year.

Hope everyone is well and has a great day.

I have just been out to replenish the bird tables and feed the tomatoes and cucumber and chilli plants. They really are growing well first trusses forming on the tomatoes already!

Morning all, hope you are well.

Wet start to the day here, hoping it stops so I can do some outside stuff. If not then looks like I'll be doing some potting up in the shed.

            Have a great day.

            Aloha everyone,

But Moyra usually goes to bed early :)

It rained a lot in the night and is just about finished now. So I've got the washing done and in the tumble dryer. :blue thumb:

I spent about 45 minutes yesterday just dead heading our lovely double orange poppies. That will now have to be a 15-20 minute job every day now, if we want them to keep on producing flowers. I'm gradually working my way through the forget-me-nots in the veg patch, digging them out (they won't last to Open Day) and digging out all the buttercups, dandelions and couch grass. I half filled a wheelie bin before having to give up as my ribs were aching (they're OK now).

I'll get on with paperwork this morning (got a nasty headache but it's gradually clearing) and we'll pop out for a tour of a few garden centres/nurseries to look for any bargains that might be good for sale if I can talk them into giving a discount - and make sure they have our poster displayed :)

Last year I got a load of very large and lovely lupins (b***** built-in forum spell checker wants me to spell it the American way with an 'e' in it :old:) with large flowers already on them. I managed to get 48 of them for £2.50 and sell them for £3.50 and they were snapped up very quickly. This year they're selling small ones for £4.50 :hate-shocked: so didn't bother.

I've booked the usual three tables for the Indian on Open Day. One for GC, one for helpers/friends and one for family - and got their three round tables :blue thumb:.

Keep well and have a great day

            Aloha!

Morning Early and Late people :snork:

Sun's out at the moment. Meeting up with my Brother at the Haynes Motor Museum this morning, http://www.haynesmotormuseum.com/

Not my cup of tea, but he's a bit of a petrolhead so it'll keep him out of mischief for a while
