    Morning everyone!
Hope we are all good and our burdens can be carried lightly today!
Looks like it's going to be a lovely day. Just ambling around the garden with my cuppa before work. 1 tree Peony has produced a spectacular flower 2 others are in bud, may be out by this evening when I get back! The thought of this will sustain me throughout the day!
I wish you all a happy day!

      Good morning all,

WOO what a beautiful sky, thank you have a good day dear.

Ade, no sign of buds on my peonies yet, seem to put everything into growth.

Loli, will your mum be allowed home soon?

Shiney, hope you are holding it together. I have a 3'6" circular table that breaks down into top and two metal interlocking legs so easy to store that I was going to chuck but if you can find time to come out to near Basildon you would be welcome to it to add to your own collection.

Have a good day everyone, God bless 236482.gif

        Good morning everyone,

Woo...you're absolutely right, early mornings are the best time of the day:wub2:...to me it feels like I've got the whole world to myself before the hustle and bustle starts and this sunshine just tops it off:dancy:

Moyra...Mum was only at hospital for day surgery and she's doing fine but a bit sore now the numbness has worn off..
Yes, hopefully a detour to Maldon:thumbsup::chicken: That'll be fun,2 dogs ,4 chickens and 21ft caravan on the back:rolleyespink:...

Yesterday I could feel myself getting into a proper paddy:mad:...as a rule, as far as snails and slugs are concerned I've been very lucky but this year is the worst I've ever known in my garden. They've virtually demolished a whole border, destructive little:mute:.I've had a look in my slug pubs this morning and there's only one that's met it's maker, they must have gone tea total:rolleyespink:...Even the chooks don't do this much damage...hey ho ,back to the drawing board:doh:....

Suns up and it's said to get warmer, just the ticket:thumbsup:

        Waves to all,
Have a great day and take care:SUNsmile:

          Aloha everyone,

Ade, our tree peonies have flowered and gone over weeks ago!

Loli, Maldon is about 25 miles from us - due East, as the chicken flies. :blue thumb: :heehee: Are you bringing the cuddlies? If you are, Mrs Shiney said she'd love to see them. :yahoo: You'll pass our door on Sunday morning on the way to Maldon.

We've also had problems with slugs and snails. They had started eating our runner beans in the blowaway on the third shelf that is just wire! They also ate a tray of lupins the other week and three trays of seedlings .

Beans were planted out last night (runners and French) so I had better go and inspect them.

          Have a great day

          Aloha!

Moyra, thanks for the offer but I can pick up 6ft tables from the village hall - I have the keys.

Oh Good Shiney. It seems a shame to oust this table I have it stored in the shed, it has a nice laminated black top and chrome frame legs. I might stick it outside with a help yourself notice on it. You watch I shall get rid of it and then decide I could have used it for something. Lol.

              Hi all, sorry I'm late.
The sun was coming through the bedroom window this morning , the birds were singing and everything smelt fresh. I didn't bother putting the laptop on, it was a quick coffee and out with Bailey for almost two hours.
Mrs LWW and I decided to visit Wakefield Park with Bailey when I got home. We checked out the formal gardens, fed the ducks and just enjoyed being in the fresh air.
At lunchtime we ended up at the Eating Inn in the park and had a "Golden Years" special on the lawn before coming home (there's a lot to be said for being a "wrinkly!)
Going to sit in the garden now with my OH and no doubt have a snooze.
I hope that everyone has had as good a day as I have, here's to more of the same this summer.

                        Aloha everyone,

They've forecast the hottest days of the year, so far, for this weekend. With a bit of luck it will speed up flower production so that there will be more in bloom for next weekend.

Things to do this morning, at a charity event this afternoon and bridge club tonight. I may get a bit of edge trimming done this morning if my ribs allow it (been overdoing it a bit, again  :)).

Keep well and have a great day.

                        Aloha!
