The perfect sausage! ??

    Oh well, it's dinner time now. Just looking through the freezer, and started to wonder. What makes the perfect sausage? What do you look for in the perfect sausage? Is it about taste? Size? Meat content? Type of meat? Texture? Skin on or off?
    Personally I like a lincolnshire. What do you go for?

    The perfect sausage is all of the above but definitely with the skin on!! I always thought that Saxby sausages took some beating but you can't get them now, I usually go for the Cumberland sausages with black pepper but I still feel that these are the best of a bad bunch nowadays!! :dunno:

      My ex would only ever eat black farmers, but I am not keen on them. I like Cumberland :) :dbgrtmb:

            My mum used to get hold of a big curved thing. Not sure if it was a sausage or not. Like a horseshoe. Anyone remember them?
