Sat here, in the lounge. It's ten past nine, doors are open, looking out into the garden, a lovely breeze coming in. Happy days!
We were out on the Altar Stones, a minor Leics beauty spot last night at nearly 10 - not a breath of wind and still light enough to see your way with a panoramic view all around.
What a bobby dazzler today ... AMAAAAAZING!!!!!! Jenny not too hot - delicious southerly breeze and it smells like Summer.... Jenny
Was at the beach saturday - love summer lol Yomping over the countryside Sunday and generally enjoying myself
No. It's the time of year when I'm planting out loads of stuff and I now need to cart loads of water to my plot (no supply) to water plants, it's more difficult to accustomise plants to outdoor conditions/avoid sun scorch, everything is much harder work in the hot temps, it's getting too hot in small polytunnels and I'd prefer it a bit cooler until everything has been planted out/got established.
It's coming to a horrible end with monsoon flooding, hailstorms and gale force winds that'll trash your courgette plants http://www.express.co.uk/news/natur...-FIFTY-years-to-rip-through-Britain-THIS-week
