Good morning

    Hi all. I've just joined this morning in the hope that I can seek some advice from all you expert gardeners out there. I'm new to this gardening lark and have been bumbling my way through things getting snippets of information from the internet here and there so I decided it's time to find a friendly forum with hopefully people I can rely on to help me out on my quest for a garden i can enjoy.

    Ok so here goes, I have a south facing garden which at the last measure is 100 foot long by 28 foot wide give or take a few feet. That's not including the patio. It's all grass which is what I really need help with as I've got a serious case of creeping buttercup grrrrrrr. There's an area at the bottom where we ripped out some dead bushes which I'm now on with trying to kill all the weeds etc and make into grass. Surrounding the garden on both sides are huge leylandi ( spelling ) trees which are verging on dead and I hate them. I will take some pics later. So as you can tell I've got a bit of a mission on my hands!
