I ordered some Begonias on the 31st January for delivery by end of March, after a useful tip from @Scrungee , I made arrangements to visit my friend in Norfolk end of April into May Bank holiday, I rang them on the 11th April 0844 number to enquire about delivery at a call cost of 97.5p, since found ordinary number, 01473806145, to be informed they would arrive end April.
Then realising I would be away I sent an email 13th April asking them to hold my plants until after 6th May, sent another email 24th April as I had received no response, stating I hoped they were going to delay delivery. I received an email 7th May apologising for delay in answering and stating my plants would arrive within the next 7 days.
I sent another email 13th May enquiring if my plants had yet been dispatched and attached a copy of my original order stating end March delivery. No response.
I have just rung them again and been told they will be delivered by the end of the month, I enquired how large these plants will be as they are jumbo plugs, and the whole idea of ordering early is to have a nice sized plant by June/July, the very inexperienced young lady tried to make it my fault by delaying delivery, I pointed out original delivery was March, which would have been no problem, I left the conversation informing her I was not happy and if I was in anyway disappointed I would be in touch again.

For a similar failure by T&M I got my original plant order (dried out, stressed out plants), a £10 voucher as compensation, and a complete replacement of the original order, but they gave a completely incorrect replacement date of 2 weeks time (in April), then said they wouldn't be sent until the end of May - useless for summer bedding mini plugs), then cancelled it with the promise of a refund, then went ahead sent it out to arrive the day before I went away on holiday (I told them I was going away) and they suffered as a consequence, but at least they didn't die on my doorstep whilst I was on my hols.

T&M are a shambles. I also had a seed order for 3 x a bundle of seeds with only 1 bundle delivered and I've got to chase up a promised replacement for seeds that had only about half the number in the packet. They aint what they used to be.

Received a letter this morning as follows
Thank you for your order with us, we are writing to inform you that we have had a delay in our delivery of Begonia Raspberry Cream, which means we will be unable to dispatch this item until early June.
We take great pride blah blah.
Order to be sent high priority blah blah.
Please remain confident in our commitment blah blah.

Getting more than a little cross with T&M now.

What was the original dispatch date? Surely by the time those plugs have grown big enough to plant out half the summer will have gone. Saying sorry wont make up for that, are they giving you any refund to compensate for the delay.

T & M seem to have lost their way, take a look on their facebook page, complaint after complaint.
If you look on the review sites it's a similar picture.

The morons I spoke with seemed to have no idea that delaying delivery by 2 months can cause problems, and you have to explain that receiving plants 2 months late completely mucks up their use in mixed displays, loses you half of their flowering period, etc.

              I've given up on T&M. They're abysmal.

Don't forget to factor in the cost of the telephone calls to sort things out when T&M get it wrong. Extract from last month's bill:

That's why I only buy stuff on special offer and use 'trebled up' clubcard points vouchers (preferably combined with T&M voucher codes) or other promotions.
