No sorry Marley. It's practice week and they're on the course from 6 to 9.30pm, I'm in my armchair with GC at this time. :) They've finished for this evening now (I can't hear them screaming by), either they've finished practice or it's because the weather's closing in. The weather's not looking good for tomorrow and Thursday so they might have to abandon those practices.

I hope to get out with my camera at some point and see if I'm quick enough to get some shots. :heehee:

I think the weather's going to be hit and miss this year. The residents on the island hate it when it's bad as it messes up the schedule and causes chaos for everyone trying to carry on their daily lives.

If there's something you must do......then it's TT! It's an experience that will stay with you for the rest of your life. It's an expensive trip though as the Isle of Man Steampacket (Ferries) raises it's prices big style at this time, even the residents have to pay the going rate if they want to leave the island.

As Marley says Guy Martin is still racing and was at the Irish 'North West 200' the week before last. He's a great character but a no nonsense man!

The year before Joey Dunlop lost his life in Estonia I came almost face to face with him in Douglas very close to his bike workshop. We were both on opposite sides of the road but he called across, said hello and wished me a good day, a gentleman indeed..... and me a complete stranger to him. :)

My elder brother no longer rides but has been restoring classic and vintage bikes for years. :)
