All your pics have got me very very excited since I ordered one of these the other week and I'm now waiting very very impatiently for it to come.

I can only have one because I'm having my kitchen re done so will have somewhere to bring it in, in winter

 

Hi and welcome to the forum Dips. What have you ordered ?

Full sized ones can take up a lot of space. But there is nothing to stop you taking cuttings in autumn. These must be from above the fork to ensure its a flowering cutting, and these don't take up much space - at first.

I have been in love with them since i was a kid because our local pub in spains garden use to be filled with them. And well they just smell so wonderful especially when it rained

So far I'm doing alright with bloom this past two weeks. The mild but wet winter meant that in the greenhouse the plants stayed in semi leaf.

Depends if it's a cutting or a seed grown plant in it's first or 2nd year. But as yours have forked, no long now. Look out for irregular shaped leaves that are no longer symmetrical, and those tiny rice sized buds between stem and leaves.

In case anyone's wondering a cutting from the mature part of the Brug can flower on a 8 inch cutting, but a non mature Brug can be between 3.5/4 foot to 6 foot. I have many 6 footer that I'm praying will flower, so I can take a top cutting for next year.
