Received a phone call Friday 30th May, head of customer care replying to my last email sent 13th May, stating my plants were being dispatched 30th May, I pointed out it was the 30th, she said so they would have gone out today, and she was sure I would be pleased, nothing arrived yesterday so either languishing in a sorting office or another put off.
If I am not entirely happy when they do get here and ask for a refund, should I get £15 or as I trebled up my Tesco points the £5 face value...

As they changed their last dispatch date to 'by the end of May', and have sent them all out on the last working day before the end of May, I hope they've not just sent them out before the deadline regardless of what size they are. And a Friday doesn't sound like the best day for couriers to collect plug plants as they wont be delivered until the following week.

"Jumbo plugs can be planted straight into baskets or other containers. Plants are usually 8-12cm in height from base to tip, and the plug module could be 3-4cm in diameter, depending on the variety."

They are just about minimum size , think I will phone and have a moan anyway.

I guess they have to work on Fridays, but I would give an extra STAR to any company NOT shipping on a Friday.

Bit like JBA Spuds don't ship seed potatoes if there is risk of frost (in case the delivery people leave a loaded lorry parked outside at night), whereas the regular seed companies just ship regardless (along with seeds and whatever else you have ordered)

The base of a plant is normally where the stem meets the soil, not the underside of the roots, meaning that unless you click on the plug thumbnail and get the additional info displayed the plants could be half the size you expect.

          Thoroughly misleading!

To add insult to injury one was snapped off at the base, had already had a telephone conversation, and, sent a very strongly worded email.
