The lawn is getting a bit patchy due to the little uns playing footie and the dog. Seriously considering the artificial grass for now!

Plenty of new culms on the bamboos, fatsias getting some good growth, the sambucus nigra is getting ready to flower and the tree ferns fronds are a plenty.

I love seeing a garden where the plants are obviously well cared for and thriving - well done you :spinning:
You should see my grass with three dogs  Yours is positively luxurious in comparison.

I bet your giraffe's a talking point among the neighbours :snork:

                    Thanks all!
It's beginning to get some colour, what with the baskets, begonias, clematis, honeysuckle and the impatiens. The day Lilly is budding, the sambucus is ready to open it's flowers the hostas are huge this year too!
All the dahlias I left in the ground since last year have come up, but I lost the 2 I took up and stored!
The giraffe is steel with an enamel paint coating, it's surprisingly light(ish) considering it's size. It certainly continues to surprise and make people smile and is a great talking point. Still want a black panther tho!

I love the giraffe. Very tropical garden. All you need is a hammock and you should be fine. ;)
