Still way behind, but got some Shallots in. Courgettes planted out and covered to keep the snails off.

Weaved a Willow support for the Peas (snails bit thru the main stems last night:doh:Got one left)

Sown some beans around the Sweetcorn.

Almost everything done! Garden plot is full to the seams, most of my greenhouse plants have been potted on, just a couple more plants to go but I've ran out of compost. Already harvesting baby kale and the first of the French Beans are a matter of days away....... All looking good:)

Today, I 'ave been mostly digging weeds out, squashing snails and getting stung.

Planted out, netted and collared some 'Belot' winter cauliflowers, a bit of general weeding here and there, also planted out some rudbeckia 'Rustic Dwarf'.

Dug up a couple of roots of Arran Pilot new potatoes. Small, but very tasty. Not quite ready yet, they need another week or so.

Everything seems to be flourishing in the veg plot this year (apart from toms) but my cabbages seem HUGE!
                  Just a quickie question.
My first try at radishes, first crop were fab, the second crop which are smaller (after the same growing period) have tiny nibbled out bits on the crown which sticks up out of the ground. I thought they were nibble proof, so not sure what it could be. Any suggestions? Slugs?

                  Cheers
                  GG

Slugs do like the occasional nibble at radishes GG, but usually not enough to do any serious damage.

Very Nice little Cucumbers - many more to come too. The plants are close to the roof in the greenhouse - if I take the growing tip out will they produce side shoots ?

Just watering tonight, French beans will be going out in the morning, hardened them off for the past few days.

Outdoor Tomatoes are flowering, Shallots and Celeriac are getting away.

Pumpkin stem has been almost eaten thru
